So….wanna see another project?
For my scrapbook page I highlighted the new Cling Jumbo Tiger Lily stamp. It fits wonderfully on the new Perfectly Clear jumbo handle, which is thin, HUGE and super easy to use with not only the Jumbo stamps, but the background stamps as well!
First I stamped the Tigerlily multiple times in Versamark ink onto pattern paper (orange check from Basic Grey). I embossed it with Stampendous! Clear Bark EP then spritzed some Gold and Frost Shimmer Spirtz over the flowers.
To add some fun glitz I added 2 things to the centers of the flowers...a chunky sequiny glitter in brown that I picked up at Michael's....then on TOP of that I added some Stampendous! Mahogany Jewel glitter. It gives it a really cool multi-dimensional feel in person!
Next, I stamped the Tigerily with Sepia ink onto printed French Script paper from Canvas Corp. (I stamped this off for a lighter effect) Along the border of the script paper plus the border of my large brown piece (also a print from Basic Grey) I rubbed some gold and brown metallic rub-ons from my friends at Craf-T Products…you know…the ones who make chalk! (They make metallic and glimmer chalk too!)
I also tucked a small border of the orange print (that was punched using an EK Success border punch) under the Script print layer to pull some orange to the bottom of the page.
The fun ribbon treatment was created with jumbo crinkle ribbon from May Arts. I cut a thin strip of card stock the width of the page then sewed the ribbon to it, tucking it every so often. Hand sewn, I used a backstitch with metallic DMC floss.
My brown pattern paper was spritzed with more of the Shimmer spritz. (From Tsukineko, This stuff is GREAT, it doesn’t clog like other brands and its in a smaller bottle so you can get more colors for less $$) After I added the picture to the page (my DD and he BFF) I added more flowers and tucked some Velvet Class-a-Peel stickers from Stampendous! under the edges.
BEFORE sticking them down however, my brown was almost the same color as the paper, so I first rubbed some more of the metallic rub-on directly into the velvet while still on the plastic piece.
I think that’s about it, LOL! A bit more time than I usually put into a layout, though I do LOVE to make them complicated! All of my supplies are listed at the bottom of the page after the hop order if you are interested!
