From here head back over to the InStyle Stamps Blog to vote for your favorite DT member's project today and for your chance to win 7 Spica Glitter pens!! Yeah boy! Love my Spicas :)

I promise you will not be disappointed by all the awesome eye candy!! And don't forget to spread some love along the way...your wonderful comments make our day!

Yummy cupcakes!

I have 2 cards for you today since I have been such a bad blogger lately. I am almost out of the weeds and will be back on track sometime next week I hope. In the meantime, I do have posts scheduled for you for the next 2 days as well, so be sure to check back!!

First up is this card with "Cupcakes" digi stamp from InStyle Stamps. I love cupcakes, and these are just so fun! I paired them with some bright fun papers from Bo Bunny to meet the Pink and Orange challenge theme over at The Wild Flower Patch and used the birthday theme with a treat for Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge :) Sentiment is A Muse.

Next is Ingrid, another digi stamp image from InSTyle Stamps. She is paired with more of the same line of Bo Bunny papers, but this time I pulled out the aqua for the Aqua challenge at The Pink elephant blog. The sentiment is a new one from Hero Arts and I got to use my new Labels 13 nesties from Spellbinders.

Ok, so thats it for today. Don't forget the InStyle Stamps Blog hop tomorrow and the Stampendous! Saturday Sketch challenge the day after! See you there!

STMC3: Happy Bird day

Well, I did find my heat gun and finally finish this card. I starrted it for last weeks sketch, but ended up using it for this weeks Stampendous! Sketch Challenge. This weeks edition is brought to you by Stampendous! DT member extraordinare, Pam Hornschu.

You can view all the details for this weeks challenge at the Stampendous! blog. Please play along with us and send us a link to your creation :) You don't have to use Stampendous! products, but we'd love it if you do! There will not only be a prize randomly from all entrants but also one displaying the best use of Stampendous! products!

For mine I created a long card that would fit in a standard legal size envelope. I used these fun papers from My Little Show Box that I picked up at Enchanted Cottage. They are a perfect match for the cute Bird Cage stamp from Stampendous! The adorable sentiment is also by Stampendous! Birdcage and sentiment wee both embossed with Periwinkle Embossing Powder from Stampendous! My new favorite EP color :)

So, go get busy stamping! You have until Thursday night to submit an entry. Don't forget to use the keyword STMC3 if you upload to a public gallery. Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping in! I will be back posting more regularly soon. Promise :)

Spring Magnolia Cards

Good Morning! I have a handful of Tildas to share with you today. Never finished my Stampendous card for the 2nd challenge the other day because, get this...LOST my heat gun! Aaacck!! Turns out my 17 year old borrowed it trying to light a candle. Bwaah! (No, it didn't work, BTW for those other pyros out there) I WILL finish it now that I found it :)

OK, so here is the first. This is one of my favorite new Tildas we got in at Enchanted Cottage. Its Tilda with Umbrella and she matches perfectly with this adorable new paper from Prima! The flowers are also from the same new Prima collection, and I added some Bazzill "In Stitches" to the left edge. The sentiment is from Stampendous! Also got to use the new Labels 11 from Spellbinders for this card :)

Next up is Tilda with Spring Bundle. She is colored to match the cute Basic Grey paper from the Sugar Rush collection. I used my Spellbinders Circle and Blossom Nestabilties and the Eyelet Borderabilties for this one.

Last up is one of the cards I designed for my Easter Magnolia class. I have been trying for weeks to get a good pic of this card, and I finally give up. This is as good as its gonna get! This is Tilda with Eggs in her Apron, on top of the Spring Background. Both were colored with Copic markers to match this gorgeous paper from Memory Box. Close up shot of Tilda is below.

Alrighty then, thanks for popping in today! Remember its Tuesday...LOST is on! Almost over forever, can't believe it. Sigh. Have a great afternoon!

Ella Lollipop

Happy Friday! I am so happy to be back home again! The New York trip was a blast but hey, its been 2 weeks since I have been out of my normal routine. Its quite tiring, ya know?

For today I have a cute little Lollipop card for you. I made this for Enchanted Cottage and haven't had a chance to share it with you yet. This is "Ella Lollipop" from Stamping Bella. Isn't she just adorable?!! I kept her very simple to focus on the simplicity yet utter cuteness of the image (in total Lori Boyd style!)

The pink paper is new "Green at Heart" from Basic Grey, the green card base is Bo Bunny, as are both ribbons. Ella was colored with Copic markers then I went over the dots for real clarity with my Signo Uniball white gel pen. All supplies are available at Enchanted Cottage.

OK, be sure to check back tomorrow for the second edition of Stampendous! Saturday Sketch Challenge :) Thanks for visiting today. Hope you have a marvelous weekend!

OHDBCGA

Happy Hump Day! Its also time for the Instyle Stamps "Over the Hump Day Blog Candy Give Away". You can head to the InStyle Stamps blog for all the details and to see a peek at all the design team members' cards. As usual, a fabulous prize is available!

Our theme this month is Mother's Day, so I used Sheree for my focal image, she's in the Retro section of the digi downloads at the InSTyle Stamps store. I thought a day of relaxation is something that every mother deserves!

I colored Sheree to match this gorgeous paper from the Kioshi collection by Basic Grey. All the bubbles were colored with a slightly lighter version of whichever color happens to fall under them. Then I went over the bubbles with my Gelly Roll glitter pen. The relax sentiment is from a retired CC Designs stamp set.

I appreciate you visiting today! Still in the Big Apple, but I am heading home tomorrow :)

Texas Roadhouse meets The Big Apple

JUst another manic Monday...and I mean manic! My ADD self is on sensory overload in Manhattan! Its been 20 years since I have been to NY City, and I still love the place but it would wear me out to live here!

I'm here this week hanging out with my hubby Marcus, courtesy of Texas Roadhouse. Its the 20th annual Managing Partners Conference, and I think about the 11th or 12th that we have been to. This awesome company has taken us to Hawaii, Banff, Cabo San Lucas. San Francisco and more through the years.

Above is the opening ceremony last night held on the Skating Rink in the Rockefeller Plaza. There are at least 1000 people present, but I never caught the exact count this year.

This is Marcus & I at the observation deck on The Empire State Building a couple of nights ago. We have the pleasure of hanging with tons of our friends this week, many that we have known for almost 20 years, since before we were married :)

Lastly, for the first of the Awards Night we got to see the Rockettes preform at Radio City Music Hall. AND the MP finalists of the year were coerced onto the stage to do a bit of a kick line with the girls. What a hoot! Our NC girl Laura from Jacksonville is over to the left in this pic! Go Laura, we all hope you win!!

OK, So I am ditching a meeting while I am typing, hehe. But its almost time for lunch so I am heading out! Check back Wednesday for my OHDBCGA post for InStyle Stamps! Thanks for your visit. Have a great Monday!

Double Challenge

Here's post 2 of 2 for the day! Thanks for sticking with me :) This card is for todays Color Challenge at InStyle Stamps. ISS is also sponsoring the Fussy and Fancy Challenge this week so we doubled up the challenge and used Mindy's sketch as well! Be sure to head to the InSTyle Stamps blog for the color challenge...Virginia has a prize for the winner! ALSO, there is a prize at the Fussy and Fancy Challenge blog too!

So, here is my card. I used the new image "Heart Dress" from InSTyle Stamps. I printed it out once on Neenah Solar Crest cs, the again onto this fun paper from Creative Imagination. It matched perfectly with this fun new Bazzill cs I had in my stash, and almost perfectly to the color challenge inspiration piece.

The border punch is by Martha Stewart and the ovals were cut with my Nestabilites. The yummy satin ribbon is almost the end of my SU! chocolate ribbon stash :)

OK, hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Little Bunny Tilda

Little Bunny Tilda, hoppin' through the forest... hehe! This is one last leftover Easter card that I never got around to blogging while out of town. It was one for my Magnolia Easter class at Enchanted Cottage.

Isn't she just the cutest little thing?? She is colored to match this beautiful ribbon by May Arts that I was just dying to use The papers are from the 3 Bugs in a Rug "Little Chick" collection. Sorry its hard to see the card, I took the pic at work. Click on the image for a closeup and that will help!

OK, I'm outta here. Back from Florida for 2 days then off to New York! I have to catch up on piles of laundry, DT stuff, bills, groceries, etc. Check back in Saturday for the first Stampendous! sketch challenge!

Happy Friday! Its time for this months Sketch challenge at InStyle Stamps! Be sure to head over to the ISS blog to see all the fabulous eye candy from the Design Team!

I am using an awesome new image from InSTyle Stamps called Lorelei. She is such a beauty. I enlarged her quite a bit so I could focus on her face more. (You are seeing about 2/3 of the actual image) I love the beauty of digi stamps that I can manipulate them however I want!

I printed her on Neenah Classic Crest White and then colored her with my copic markers. She is colored to match this fun "Kioshi" paper from Basic Grey. The background cs is Bo Bunny Double Dots, button is Basic Grey and ribbon is Piggy Tales. The sentiment is from "Boutique Sentiments" from Amy R Stamps. I ended up flipping the sketch to the side for my image to work.

I am in Florida as I type, so this will be a bit short! Here's the copics I used:

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter!
