We hope you've enjoyed the inspiration this week as our team has been playing with the Resin Crafts Blog featuring EnviroTex Jewelry Resin from ETI and their brand new Jewelry Clay! We've had fun bringing you these terrific projects. Be sure to comment on all the blogs for the best chance to win these terrific products. Our prize package includes BOTH the clay and resin, plus a nice assortment of bezels from Nunn Designs, and, of course, some stamps and Essentials from Stampendous! One of the things we love best are the terrific videos that show you just what to expect from these products. Here's the EnviroTex Resin Video: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whnsO3dsHOk] And this one shows you all the details on Jewelry Clay: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c22EQ-ARn8E] There are also downloadable .pdf's on the Environmental Technologies site, and the directions that come in each package are extremely complete and very helpful. We're creating crazy around here with this too fun resin and clay!

For my project today I am pulling one out of the archives from last year.  Why?  1> because I really liked it! and 2> i won't whine but with end of the school year and lots more going on, well, you know, we procrastinators go belly up sometimes.

I used Halloween Sprite, Black Glass Glitter, and Trick or Treat Color Fragments in my Resin for this one along with a piece of Ranger Memory glass.  Halloween Sprite is now retired but can be found in many stores by searching HERE and I know that my local store Betty's has some still.

She was colored with my Spectrum Noir markers (PL3, PL2, PL1, Lv3, LV2, Lv1, OR3, OR2, TN5, IG7, IG5, IG3, IG1, FS9, FS4, DG3, CG3)

Fun with Resin

This week the Stampendous gals are thrilled to get to play with Jewelry Resin and Epoxy Clay from EnviroTex!  Carmi from EnviroTex was kind enough to share lots of goodies with us last year and again this year :)

In fact I still had some leftover resin from last year, its in two separate bottles that you mix together so I was hoping it would stil activate and it sure did!  So now I have another whole batch for later this week!

For today's project I pulled out a jumbo bottle cap from my stash (I think its Maya Road).  I inked some cardstock with Tim Holtz Distress stains, then stamped Sewing Elements with Versafine ink and embossed it with Clear Detail EP.

Next I mixed my Resin and poured it in then added bits of Teal Color Fragments, Mint Color Fragments, Powder Blue Color Fragments and plus some Black Crushed Glass Glitter and tada!

Paper Craft Planet Scrappy Sunday Sketch

Its my turn at the Paper Craft Planet Blog today for Scrappy Sunday and I would love for you to please  go join in our challenge HERE!

I have been playing more and more with Project Life, even if I don't do it every week it gets me scrapbooking again!  There are so many options out there now for the divided layouts.  I used to do these all the time (without the pockets) and we called it color blocking.  Its a great way to get lots of photos on a page.

For my page today I used:
Becky Higgins Project Life divided protector
Poppy Favorite Fabric pieces (LYB)
Poppy 6x6 Paper pad (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Poppy Canvas stickers (LYB)
Poppy Chipboard stickers (LYB)
Poppy Vellum Tape (LYB)
Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Peacock Feathers, & Mowed Lawn Distress ink pads (Tim Holtz)

Here's the sketch that I created for you if you would like to play along.  (Tip: If you don't have the divided protectors just make each panel slightly smaller than 4x6 and then mount them all on a plain 12x12 sheet of cardstock!)

Balloons Away

Its a Blog Hop today for the Stampendous and STEADTLER collaboration!  I hope you've enjoyed all the projects that we created for you all week.  A huge thanks to STAEDTLER for sending me a box of  fun goodies to play with :)

Today I played with the Fimo clay.  Mine was White microwaveable but it comes in all types and colors.  There have been some fabby clay projects at Kelli's blog all week and mine falls way short in comparison, but it was my first time working with this medium!

I rolled out my white clay into a thin rectangular shape and then stamped Hot Air Trio with Versafine ink onto it (after I misted it with water so my stamp wouldn't stick.  I then cut around the edges carefully and left it to dry.  Finally, I sanded my edges and then colored it with STAEDTLER aquarelle watercolor pencils.

I hope you've taken time to comment all this week because there are tons of prizes to be given away!
Stampendous  prize package will include one prize package per day (total of 5 packages) from those folks commenting on our bloggers that day. Our package will include SSC1171 Hot Air Scapes Perfectly Clear Stamps and our SSC1170 Soaring Sentiments Perfectly Clear Stamps plus a Jumbo acrylic handle for use with them.

Scrapbooking on the Wall with The Crafters Workshop

When I attended the Trade Show in Boston recently I was lucky enough to take a class from Jaime Echt, owner of The Crafters Workshop.  We had fun playing with lots of stencils and their new dies but  I didn't finish my project there because I was unhappy with the color choices the lady at my table made for us.  Soooo, I took my display board home along with some pre-sprayed pieces from Jaime and played more with my collection of TCW stencils until I came up with this final piece inspired by the class.

Jaime had pre-sprayed some mixed media paper with various colors of Radiant Rain and assorted TCW stencils.  I cut a few of these pieces with the new dies.

The first panel has the "happy" die cut from Vertical Happy Bunting and the background I sprayed Ginger Flower Radiant Rain through the  Circle Regiment stencil.  I also added some Viva Bronze Modeling Creme by Splash of Colour through the Aztec stencil directly onto the photo.

This panel has a background sprayed through the Aztec stencil and then in the bottom I stenciled part of Lifes Months with Graphite Ferro Special Effects Paste onto a sprayed panel.

This panel was die cut using Vertical Happy Bunting and then cut apart.  The bunting I glued to the top of the display panel.  (I used Zip Dry from Beacon for the whole project)

One of the other panels uses the frame from the Horizontal Chevron die, and then I used the negative pieces to decorate the inside of this panel.

Products used:
Tiny Circles 6x6 stencil (TCW)
Aztec 6x6 stencil (TCW)
Life Months 6x6 stencil (TCW)
Circle Regiment 6x6 stencil (TCW)
Mixed Up Alpha 6x6 stencil (TCW)
Horizontal Chevron die (TCW)
Vertical Happy Bunting (TCW)
Seven Gypsies Display tray
Luminarte Radiant Rain sprays (Splash of Colour)
Ferro Special Effects Paste Graphite (Splash of Colour)
Bronze Modeling Creme (Splash of Colour)
May Arts Ribbon

Stampendous and STAEDTLER

This week's Stampendous catalog release theme is Balloons AND we are doing a collaboration with STAEDTLER all week!  There are multiple prizes up for grabs so be sure to read all the way through :)

For today I wanted to do something a little different from everyone else so I created a page in my Art Journal.  STAEDTLER sent me a gorgeous collection of red and pink Soft Pastel Chalks so I used three of those to create my background.

I rubbed 2430-2, 2430-24, and 2430-25 onto my page and then smudged them with my finger, blending slightly where the colors overlap.  You do need a fixative to set the pastels and I just happened to have a bottle of Spectrafix that worked perfectly!

Next I stamped a series of hot air balloons on my page in Versafine ink using Hot Air Trio and Airscapes.  I added a touch of color to the central balloons with STAEDTLER Ergo Soft Aquarell watercolor pencils.  This layered beautifully over the pastels AFTER they were set.

I added one of the borders from the Airscapes set, a bit of doodling and then stamped Dream Text below the horizon that I created.  The doodling was done with a STAEDTLER 0.5 Pigment liner.  Finally I added more pastel chalk around the edges and sprayed the page again.

The Stampendous prize package will include one prize package per day (total of 5 packages) from those folks commenting on our bloggers that day. Our package will include SSC1171 Hot Air Scapes Perfectly Clear Stamps and our SSC1170 Soaring Sentiments Perfectly Clear Stamps plus a Jumbo acrylic handle for use with them.

STAEDTLER prize package will be awarded at the end of the week, one for each of their bloggers from all commenters on that blog that week

– package includes:
1 Set of 6 Triplus fineliners, pastel assortment
4 blocks of FIMO soft oven-bake clay in vanilla, peach, lilac and mint
1 Mars plastic eraser
1 Double hole metal pencil sharpener
1 Mars Lumograph sketch pencil
1 Pigment liner sketch pen
2 Creative idea brochures

Be sure to stop by all the blogs below for today's new posts:

And don't forget to leave comments on all these posts plus the rest of the ones from this week for more chances to win a prize package!

Tiny Treats

Good morning!  Its time for our weekly Dreamweaver Stencil challenge and this month we are doing treats.  I have used one of the brand new stencils, Cherries, for my project today.

The cherries were done Double Glitter Style on Double sided mounting paper except I used Tim Holtz's Distress embossing powders.

I turned this piece into a tag and attached it to a small jar full of cherry and strawberry starburst, a fun and yummy gift for any small occasion.  My tag is attached with May Arts twine onto a wide ribbon tied around the top of the jar.  This gorgeous spring ribbon is also from May Arts.

Be sure to check out the rest of Team A's projects for you today:

May Flowers

The Floral week continues today at Stampendous.  The DT is showcasing tons of our new floral stamps this week so don't miss out!  Flowers are also the challenge this month and you can get all the details HERE.

I have 2 cards for you today that I created for the April catalog.  The first is using the new Jumbo Bird of Paradise stamp.  I simply stamped the flower in Versamark ink, embossed it with Detail Black EP, then colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers.

I cut out the flower, mounted it on black cs then added a touch of white doodling with a gel pen.

I also have a tag to share using the Jumbo Peruvian Lily that I used on my layout earlier this week.  My tag was sprayed with Dylusions, stamped with the Garden Background in Versafine black and then Fran'taged with elements from the Pink Encrusted 5 jar kit.

I then stamped my lilies in versafine and sprayed them with Dylusions ink.  I added a touch of the Vintage Plum Embossing tinsel to the centers.

Be sure to join us this month for our floral challenge!

Tiny Treats

May is a month of gift giving for Moms and Grads, and soon it will be dads and summer brides.  So we are having a month of Gift projects at Dreamweaver Stencils.  Our challenge for you this month is "Tiny Treats" and we hope to see you play along at the DWS blog!

Today I create a little baby shower favor using a brand new stencil that will be available soon at local stores.  I dry embossed the Little Ducky and then added Gelatos through the stencil to color the duck and his little puddle.  This was paired with some K & co baby paper and the Mosaic Swirl stencil over the pattern paper sprayed with Memories Mist Blue Martini plus some yummy May Arts ribbon to tie it all up!

Here's a closer peek at the new Little ducky:
