<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Welcome to the Dreamweaver Stencils and Stampendous "Faces of Art" Blog Hop! I hope you've enjoyed all the inspiration this week and that you've left loads of comments for a chance to win!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For my project today I've inverted a canvas and used the backside as my base. The face from the<a href="http://www.stampendous.com/products-page/whats-new/cling-blossom-beauty-crs7004/"> Blossom Beauty stamp</a> has been stamped in Archival ink onto Bazzill music paper and then painted with a wash of Distress ink and cut out. I added the flower stamp from the same set that was stamped onto a stenciled piece of pattern paper and then die-cut using the matching <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/products-page/whats-new/blossom-beauty-die-cut-set-dcs7004/">Blossom Beauty die</a>. My paper was stenciled with<a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LJ%20Stencils/pages/page_78.html"> Mosaic Swirls </a>in Distress paint.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mDPzTZ5KtFg/U1pkackuPaI/AAAAAAAAKHo/bPpcSole0Cc/s1600/photo+2+(2).JPG&container=blogger&gadget=a&rewriteMime=image%2F*" width="337" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The coral pattern paper on the inside of the canvas was stenciled with more distress paint using the <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LX%20Stencils/pages/page_2.html">Damask stencil.</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My edges were painted with Distress paint and then covered with crochet ribbon from May Arts. The collar on my Beauty was created with Crochet trim from Petaloo. I also added some painted flowers and butterfly from the new Burlap collection from Petaloo as well as a sentiment tag using the <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/products-page/encouragement/v219-dream-forever-rubber-stamp/">Dream Forever stamp.</a></div>

Stampendous and Dreamweaver Stencils have such a wonderful working relationship that we are collaborating again this week! I hope you've been catching all the beautiful projects this week at the <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous blog</a> and the<a href="http://dreamweaverstencils.blogspot.com/"> Dreamweaver blog.</a> And don't forget to catch our blog hop tomorrow!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-McP7SpzpXaQ/U1kFOvi-kEI/AAAAAAAAKG8/w_ztQLHHSgI/s1600/p-txt.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-McP7SpzpXaQ/U1kFOvi-kEI/AAAAAAAAKG8/w_ztQLHHSgI/s1600/p-txt.jpeg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For today's project I've used the flower stamp from <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/products-page/whats-new/cling-blossom-beauty-crs7004/">Blossom Beauty</a> and the coordinating <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/products-page/whats-new/blossom-beauty-die-cut-set-dcs7004/">Blossom Beauty dies</a> to create a dimensional flower. After stamping the image thrice I used each of the three different dies and then layered my pieces with dimensional adhesive. My images were stamped in Versamark ink and then embossed in Aged Win and Aged Teal Embossing Enamel.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My background was created using the Letterpress technique and the <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LX%20Stencils/pages/LX7023.html">Large Scales stencil</a> with<a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/accessories/leafsprays.html"> Blue Martini Memories Mist.</a> I also added a leaf looking flourish with <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LJ%20Stencils/pages/page_98.html">Art Nouveau Flourish stencil</a> and Kiwi Metallic F/X powder.</div>

Have you been joining us this week for the <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a> and <a href="http://blog.tombowusa.com/">Tombow</a> Collaboration? We're at the end of the week and its finally time for our hop! <span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 18px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">There will, of course, be prizes! And you will want to be sure to like our pages on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and Pinterest, and subscribe to and comment on our blogs. Lots of opportunities to win. Plus, of course, you need to have a US address (sorry!). We’re excited to share.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7eBgvhcSZis/UyuW8PEK5uI/AAAAAAAAKFc/k0zmccLd65s/s1600/photo+2-7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7eBgvhcSZis/UyuW8PEK5uI/AAAAAAAAKFc/k0zmccLd65s/s1600/photo+2-7.JPG" height="320" width="218" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I received the Grunge set of markers, long with a few others goodies including the blending palette. I began a background piece by swiping 3 of the colors across the blending palette, spritzing with water, and then stamping that onto my cardstock.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MHCJphl5Skk/UyuXBvVQ96I/AAAAAAAAKFo/AT5WWnWdnEI/s1600/photo+1-7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MHCJphl5Skk/UyuXBvVQ96I/AAAAAAAAKFo/AT5WWnWdnEI/s1600/photo+1-7.JPG" height="320" width="160" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next I took the same 3 colors and colored them randomly on the background tweed stamp from <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/32763/CRS7002-R/_/Mixed_Media_Cling_Rubber_Dress_Form">Mixed Media Dress Form </a>stamp set. I repeated this process a few times to cover this background piece.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FupzZCQNkUU/UyuXB-G4bmI/AAAAAAAAKFs/xm_eKRatc0c/s1600/photo+1-8.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FupzZCQNkUU/UyuXB-G4bmI/AAAAAAAAKFs/xm_eKRatc0c/s1600/photo+1-8.JPG" height="320" width="287" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally I stamped the dress form in Versamark ink over the Tweed and embossed it with Aged Gold Embossing Enamel. Then I created her a skirt with some May Arts ribbons.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4tPS3PO7ltE/UyuW7_PrHpI/AAAAAAAAKFY/WTk5GuN7ztA/s1600/photo+2-8.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4tPS3PO7ltE/UyuW7_PrHpI/AAAAAAAAKFY/WTk5GuN7ztA/s1600/photo+2-8.JPG" height="320" width="287" /></a></div>

Its still March Madness at Dreamweaver Stencils and you can get in on our challenge for the next two weeks still! Make it over the top, beyond the page or anything wild and fun!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I have a double glitter card technique for you...seems to be my favorite technique, right? Its not really a hard technique but this stencil was a bit of a challenge!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n7kwi9ojFY4/UyrgwuHFzHI/AAAAAAAAKEk/nHSanbYQKKU/s1600/photo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n7kwi9ojFY4/UyrgwuHFzHI/AAAAAAAAKEk/nHSanbYQKKU/s1600/photo.JPG" height="400" width="380" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LM%20Stencils/index10.html">Telephone Stencil</a> was pretty straightforward, just turquoise glitter then add the Clear after removing the stencil. But the <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LJ%20Stencils/index7.html">Pop Rectangles Stencil</a> took me a bit of time, adding one color at a time to small sections then brushing that color off and moving to another section. But the effect is so fun and well worth the time! All Glitters are from Art Glitter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Happy Friday! Its been a fun collaboration week and now its blog hop time for <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous </a>and <a href="http://designmemorycraft.typepad.com/design-memory-craft/">Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft</a>. For today I created an 8x8 canvas with tons of mixed media layers! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Op3QEhXBhDM/UxnV6_yrUVI/AAAAAAAAKD8/GBG-0ZXSjYk/s1600/gelato-canvas-1.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Op3QEhXBhDM/UxnV6_yrUVI/AAAAAAAAKD8/GBG-0ZXSjYk/s1600/gelato-canvas-1.gif" height="397" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I began by coating my canvas with <a href="http://www.fabercastell.com/design-memory-craft-us/products/textural-accents-and-tools">Faber-Castell Gesso</a> and then let that dry. Next I swiped on a heavy amount of <a href="http://www.fabercastell.com/design-memory-craft-us/products/gelatos">Margarita Mix, Lavender, and Snow Cone gelatos</a> in a semi grid pattern. Using a wet paintbrush I carefully spread out and slightly mixed the overlapping borders to create my background.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used some Stampendous stencils to remove some of the gelato color with a baby wipe and then let that dry.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next I added some stamping using my <a href="http://www.fabercastell.com/design-memory-craft-us/products/stampers-big-brush-pens">Cobalt Green Stamper's Big Brush pen</a> with <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/419442/NKCRS03-R/_/NK_Studio_Grunge_Cling_Rubber_Stamps">NK Studio Grunge </a>and<a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/NKCRS01-R/_/NK_Studio_Mish_Mesh_Cling_Rubber_Stamps"> NK Studio Mish Mesh</a> stamps from Stampendous.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cbspd3Mbqxw/UxnV7DwqkxI/AAAAAAAAKD0/WLvxJEO6OUA/s1600/gelato-canvas-2.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cbspd3Mbqxw/UxnV7DwqkxI/AAAAAAAAKD0/WLvxJEO6OUA/s1600/gelato-canvas-2.gif" height="303" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then I took another Stampendous stencil and added Gesso with a palette knife through the holes. While that was still wet I sprinkled on Turquoise UF Pearl Glitter from the <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/EKM03-R/_/Stack_Art_Elements_5-Jar_Kits_Sumptuous_-_EKM03">Sumptuous Stack Art Elements kit </a>and some Melon UF Pearl glitter and Teal Mica Fragments from the <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/EKM04-R/_/Stack_Art_Elements_5-Jar_Kits_Fusion_-_EKM04">Fusion Stack Art Elements kit.</a> The gesso not only added texture but also acted as an adhesive for the glitter and mica!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8c84wfRqdSc/UxnV81pKGaI/AAAAAAAAKEI/L0zADbI6nAo/s1600/gelato-canvas-3.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8c84wfRqdSc/UxnV81pKGaI/AAAAAAAAKEI/L0zADbI6nAo/s1600/gelato-canvas-3.gif" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally I created a tag with a mini canvas pennant from Canvas Corp, colored it with Gelato, then stamped Life is Art with my Big Brush pen. This was attached with 3 in 1 glue from Beacon, and I added a clothespin from Canvas Corp, some ribbon from May Arts, and a flower from Petaloo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WUkTqZ32Tjw/UxnV7NEBBQI/AAAAAAAAKDw/FnV6HtllCU0/s1600/elato-canvas-4.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WUkTqZ32Tjw/UxnV7NEBBQI/AAAAAAAAKDw/FnV6HtllCU0/s1600/elato-canvas-4.gif" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by today!</div>

Its time for the March Madness challenge at <a href="http://dreamweaverstencils.blogspot.com/">Dreamweaver Stencils </a>and that means anything goes! But its also the more out of the box or just more is more! For today I have a summery card for you, cause I'm itching to be rid of the snowy weather!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VB8kNorSVqE/UxiJUikrbkI/AAAAAAAAKDQ/rGtn6B7xqOI/s1600/fish.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VB8kNorSVqE/UxiJUikrbkI/AAAAAAAAKDQ/rGtn6B7xqOI/s1600/fish.gif" height="320" width="318" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the Letterpress technique for the background using the <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/latest.html">Large Scales stencil,</a> <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/accessories/leafsprays.html">Blue Martini Memory Mist </a>, and my cuttlebug. Papers are from Graphic 45.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WO-Kf4s_FTY/UxiJUukYnpI/AAAAAAAAKDY/WQ5gbNef1lw/s1600/fish-bg1.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WO-Kf4s_FTY/UxiJUukYnpI/AAAAAAAAKDY/WQ5gbNef1lw/s1600/fish-bg1.gif" height="320" width="244" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My <a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/latest.html">Open Fish</a> was stenciled with versamark ink and then I added Metallic f/x mica powders. I then cut this out and adhered it to my tag on the card base.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bLSgzqAwWao/UxiJUf1N3kI/AAAAAAAAKDM/lxHMxm1y8y4/s1600/fish-close.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bLSgzqAwWao/UxiJUf1N3kI/AAAAAAAAKDM/lxHMxm1y8y4/s1600/fish-close.gif" height="176" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Have a fabulous day and thanks for topping in!</div>

Have you enjoyed the projects that you've seen from the Stampendous DT for the <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a>/ <a href="http://designmemorycraft.typepad.com/design-memory-craft/">Faber-Castell</a> collaboration? They're not over yet! I have one more for you today, plus be sure to check the Stampendous blog today for more links. Don't forget to check in on Friday as well for our blog hop!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cBFEZT8x3HU/UxSFlO5pyUI/AAAAAAAAKBs/mQhABGHXHKk/s1600/IMG_0013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cBFEZT8x3HU/UxSFlO5pyUI/AAAAAAAAKBs/mQhABGHXHKk/s1600/IMG_0013.JPG" height="395" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today is a card using gelatos again, but this time I've used them as watercolors over Pan Pastels. I first stamped <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/W112-R/_/Sir_Rabbit">Sir Rabbit</a> onto Kraft cardstock then colored his pants and bow tie with blue pan pastel. After setting that with a quick fixative I added some gelato highlights.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I scribbled my colors onto my craft sheet then pulled the color with a waterbrush to add accents.</div>

Good morning! This week <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a> is collaborating with <a href="http://designmemorycraft.typepad.com/design-memory-craft/">Faber-Castell </a>so it's going to be a mixed media type week! Faber-Castell sent the DT all kinds of fun<a href="http://www.fabercastell.com/design-memory-craft-us"> Design Memory Craft </a>products: gelatos, pencils, gesso and more!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EWZk9qYO-wM/UxSCdo2SnJI/AAAAAAAAKBc/JU3yj4XwjN4/s1600/IMG_0016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EWZk9qYO-wM/UxSCdo2SnJI/AAAAAAAAKBc/JU3yj4XwjN4/s1600/IMG_0016.JPG" height="400" width="308" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For this card I began with a white panel of heavy watercolor paper and swiped three colors of gelatos across the panel. I spritzed that with water then blended it out with a flat brush. I then added some of the darkest shade of red around the edges and blended that in with my finger.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After that was dry I stamped the <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/W111-R/_/Cherish_Heart">Cherish Heart</a> stamp in versamark ink then embossed it with a combo of <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/FREG039-R/_/Aged_Scarlet_Embossing_Enamel">Aged Scarlet</a> and <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/FREG038-R/_/Aged_Hunter_Embossing_Enamel">Aged Hunter</a> embossing enamels.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I finished the card off with a panel of green embossed with<a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/R162-R/_/Botanical_Blooms"> Botanical Blooms</a> and Aged Hunter embossing enamel and a large May Arts ribbon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Be sure to check in at the <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous blog</a> all this week to see who's playing along and we'll finish with a big Hop this Friday!</div>

For those of you that haven't heard, I'm now working as the manager at a new store in High Point called <a href="https://www.facebook.com/inkpaintstamp">Ink, Paint, Stamp!</a> We'll be open for business the beginning of April, but in the meantime we've been busy ordering and laying out the new store. I did get a chance to put together a mini album the other day:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mSPYJpfrbzk/UxSo2geCOQI/AAAAAAAAKCM/cBr8Q6m6qsE/s1600/cspg1.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mSPYJpfrbzk/UxSo2geCOQI/AAAAAAAAKCM/cBr8Q6m6qsE/s1600/cspg1.gif" height="316" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We received a huge shipment from <a href="http://clearscraps.typepad.com/my_weblog/">Clear Scraps</a> and they were generous enough to send us a few samples to play with including this adorable <a href="http://www.clearscraps.com/category_s/41.htm">Lacey mixables album.</a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Emv9AsHvxOM/UxSo21YcU-I/AAAAAAAAKCU/aJMU_eh_jn0/s1600/cspg2.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Emv9AsHvxOM/UxSo21YcU-I/AAAAAAAAKCU/aJMU_eh_jn0/s1600/cspg2.gif" height="320" width="294" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It came as a kit with precut papers and embellishments, but I changed it up with some different products that we'll be carrying in the store.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Op8g56quJAs/UxSo258GxBI/AAAAAAAAKCQ/VxM1OwCI4Os/s1600/cspg3.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Op8g56quJAs/UxSo258GxBI/AAAAAAAAKCQ/VxM1OwCI4Os/s1600/cspg3.gif" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The paper line is called <a href="https://www.kaisercraft.com.au/newsite/products.php?prod=P1399">Art of Life collection from Kaisercraft.</a> I also used black Staz-on, some Tim Holtz stamps, and some flowers from Petaloo.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uKquyhyNuzk/UxSo3UF7cqI/AAAAAAAAKCk/qOcGJM3kaak/s1600/cspg3b.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uKquyhyNuzk/UxSo3UF7cqI/AAAAAAAAKCk/qOcGJM3kaak/s1600/cspg3b.gif" height="171" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ithink it turned out super fun, sorry for the bad pics though, they were taken at work. I'm still trying to get my craft room together after the move, LOL</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5AxeSxNPASs/UxSo3xtDlPI/AAAAAAAAKCs/ecCnpvh7Qyk/s1600/cspg7.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5AxeSxNPASs/UxSo3xtDlPI/AAAAAAAAKCs/ecCnpvh7Qyk/s1600/cspg7.gif" height="320" width="296" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am so thrilled that we'll be carrying a huge variety of Clear Scraps products, I've alway loved their albums and acrylic shapes and I'm totally excited to work with their new mascils and more!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

In celebration of <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a> being at the <span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Georgia, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;"> </span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;"><a href="http://www.vegaspaint.com/exhibitors.html" style="color: #105cb6; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Georgia, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Vegas Paint’s Creative Painting event for Decorative Painters</a><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #105cb6;"> </span>this week the design team are posting painterly projects. Here's one I did with Liquitex paint and the <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/32763/CP811-R/_/Creative_Palette">Creative Palette.</a></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XHo8-DmfXes/Uw3_0AlkJ9I/AAAAAAAAKBE/h1ivYC9wQmw/s1600/dog-did-it.png" width="305" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The two background mats were both created with the CP. I brayered paint out then stamped into the wet paint and transferred the prints. On both pieces I used the<a href="http://stampendous.com/product/32763/W121-R/_/Square_Illusion_Wood_Mounted_Stamp_-_W121"> Square Illusion stamp</a> and the<a href="http://thecraftersworkshop.com/The_Crafters_Workshop/All_Templates_6.html"> Chunky Chevron stencil from The Crafter's workshop. </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IYj97NeTGa8/Uw3_wUwA0_I/AAAAAAAAKAs/rjySPQIkitk/s1600/dog-did-it-close2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IYj97NeTGa8/Uw3_wUwA0_I/AAAAAAAAKAs/rjySPQIkitk/s1600/dog-did-it-close2.png" height="69" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also added touches of black paint with a bottle cap imprinted into the paint on the CP and then stamped onto my prints.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5WNLc1C6DQA/Uw3_y2aHBeI/AAAAAAAAKA8/Q74WiUM6UlU/s1600/dog-did-it-close1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5WNLc1C6DQA/Uw3_y2aHBeI/AAAAAAAAKA8/Q74WiUM6UlU/s1600/dog-did-it-close1.png" height="320" width="139" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uCjTfmq63_A/UwdYFloYJdI/AAAAAAAAKAA/zHWMdWqovSw/s1600/giraffe-card.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uCjTfmq63_A/UwdYFloYJdI/AAAAAAAAKAA/zHWMdWqovSw/s1600/giraffe-card.png" height="400" width="290" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For my card I used the new <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/419442/CP811-R/_/Creative_Palette">Creative Palette</a> with some earthy paint colors, the Giraffe stencil from The Crafter's workshop, and the <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/32763/W121-R/_/Square_Illusion_Wood_Mounted_Stamp_-_W121">Square Illusion </a>stamp for my backgrounds. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YCcPJ-_hjGI/UwdYGU8As2I/AAAAAAAAKAE/Omeq7dCjZko/s1600/giraffe-close1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YCcPJ-_hjGI/UwdYGU8As2I/AAAAAAAAKAE/Omeq7dCjZko/s1600/giraffe-close1.png" height="176" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="text-align: center;">I added the new </span><a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/M311-R/_/Geometric_Giraffe_Wood_Mounted_Stamp_-_M311" style="text-align: center;">Geometric Giraffe</a><span style="text-align: center;"> in detail black EP ver the orange background and finally created a accent piece using the essential elements from the new </span><a href="http://stampendous.com/product/419442/EKM05-R/_/Stack_Art_Elements_5-Jar_Kits_Survival_-_EKM05" style="text-align: center;">Survival Stack ARt Essentials kit.</a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-S5m20tr-BXo/UwdYHJoZ8EI/AAAAAAAAKAQ/HwroZdWd_bM/s1600/giraffe-close2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-S5m20tr-BXo/UwdYHJoZ8EI/AAAAAAAAKAQ/HwroZdWd_bM/s1600/giraffe-close2.png" height="320" width="233" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The black mesh May Arts ribbon was the perfect accent for this piece, with a nice natural organic look to it.</div>

You still have 2 more weeks to play along with the DWS challenge this month...February Flutters! A quick post from me...moving day was 2 days ago and I still can't find anything!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today I'm sharing a card that I created with the new<a href="http://www.stencilwithstyle.com/latest.html"> Zen Flower stencil.</a> I used the double glitter technique and Tim Holtz's dry stickles glitters. Fast and easy card because thats how I wish my life were this week...easy...</div>

Good morning from the snow covered piedmont of North Carolina! This is the most snow and ice we've seen since my freshman year of college over 20 years ago. Its beautiful but our area is nearly shut down, including no Starbucks! What?!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This week has been all about showing off the new Creative Palette from <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a>. Its a totally new and different mono printing plate that is similar to the gelli in many ways yet very unique. I was so thrilled when Fran introduced it so I created tons of catalog samples with printed backgrounds. Some were cards and others journal pages, like this one.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LRp2Y_9uX9M/Uv4gQ17c_bI/AAAAAAAAJ_g/Vv7gM-sYCSo/s1600/glance-journal-page.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LRp2Y_9uX9M/Uv4gQ17c_bI/AAAAAAAAJ_g/Vv7gM-sYCSo/s1600/glance-journal-page.png" height="400" width="310" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To use the Creative Palette just squirt on some acrylic paint, brayer it out, and you are ready to print. For this background I built up many layers of prints using the same paint colors. On some I printed through a stencil, some the reverse of the stencil, and some I stamped into the plate. The result is a fun mix of fiery colors. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vs8MTCnC0vY/Uv4a1ZxYjVI/AAAAAAAAJ_Q/uht7aHkIa20/s1600/glnce-page-close2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vs8MTCnC0vY/Uv4a1ZxYjVI/AAAAAAAAJ_Q/uht7aHkIa20/s1600/glnce-page-close2.png" height="320" width="145" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After my color was laid down and dry I stamped <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/R200-R/_/Glance_Wood_Mounted_Stamp_-_R200">Glance</a> on a piece of book text with black paint, tore the edges, then adhered that to my page with Gel medium. After adding more medium on top I added some paint for her hair and skin and cheeks then blended her into the background with more paint.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dwfZwgOKi_A/Uv4axblRoEI/AAAAAAAAJ-8/yyDemvr_YWI/s1600/glance-page-close3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dwfZwgOKi_A/Uv4axblRoEI/AAAAAAAAJ-8/yyDemvr_YWI/s1600/glance-page-close3.png" height="200" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally I added the <a href="http://www.stampendous.com/product/0/M309-R/_/Live_Creatively_Wood_Mounted_Stamp_-_M309">Live Creatively</a> stamp in black paint, inked my edges with paint, and added some additional texture with the black paint using a hotel key card to make lines.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I've painted some of my Kraftboard with Silks acrylic glazes, then for other pieces I used the enclosed pre-cut adhesive on the Kraftboard and then added glitter from the Elements kit. These kits are so much fun to create with, you should check out more info on them at <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous Impressions</a> and while you're there get links for other projects the team has made!</div>

Are you ready for a new challenge from Dreamweaver Stencils for this month? How about February Flutters...its open wide to interpretation, anything that flutters: a heart, wings, something in the wind...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My card this week is one that I never posted from the last release for some reason, LOL. It uses one of the new fabulous dies that coordinate perfectly with the stencils! I used the <a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/Dies/dies.html">Apron</a> die all on its own for this card, cutting it 4 times with 4 coordinating pattern papers. All the edges were distressed with Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap distress ink (Ranger). I then carefully pieced it back together.</div>

Its Challenge day at <a href="http://www.dreamweaverstencils.blogspot.com/">Dreamweaver Stencils</a> and this month has been all about loosing weight, or keeping your cards clean and simple. I'm sharing a peek at a new stencil today called <a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/latest.html">Crusade Background</a>. This is one of my new absolute favs!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZtXhfMw7j_I/UumQMr_SMXI/AAAAAAAAJ8o/EAvuCopWeF0/s1600/merci.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZtXhfMw7j_I/UumQMr_SMXI/AAAAAAAAJ8o/EAvuCopWeF0/s1600/merci.png" height="320" width="271" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the double glitter technique so its not <i>totally</i> simple. The technique can be quite easy but I picked a detailed stencil so it was a bit more of a challenge, LOL, but the final result is still clean with not many layers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used Tim Holtz's Stickles Dry glitter along with Double sided mounting paper for this technique. The sentiment was created the same way with the <a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LS%20Stencils/index6.html">Merci Stencil</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Are you ready for more <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous </a>peeks? Here's one of my new favorite stamps called<a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/Q192-R/_/Bonjour_Kitty_Wood_Mounted_Stamp_-_Q192"> Bonjour Kitty</a>. I have him colored with my Copics to match the paint backgrounds that I created with my <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/CP811-R/_/Creative_Palette">Creative Palette</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AsPBtoxwjeA/UuZcypki68I/AAAAAAAAJ7o/oBi0UfpH3xg/s1600/bonjour-cat.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AsPBtoxwjeA/UuZcypki68I/AAAAAAAAJ7o/oBi0UfpH3xg/s1600/bonjour-cat.png" height="318" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I put dabs of Liquitex paint on my CP then brayered it on, added some stencils and then created the monoprints. I also stamped into the paint on the CP and then onto the prints.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q1BCa_CfFkM/UuZc99B-iiI/AAAAAAAAJ74/fnYYyaDV8rs/s1600/bonjour-close1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Q1BCa_CfFkM/UuZc99B-iiI/AAAAAAAAJ74/fnYYyaDV8rs/s1600/bonjour-close1.png" height="320" width="155" /></a></div>

Welcome back to sneak peek week for Stampendous! Fran designed some really gorgeous Mixed Media Stamps this round including the new <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/CRS7002-R/_/Mixed_Media_Cling_Rubber_Dress_Form">Mixed Media Dress Form stamp set</a>. Below is a snippet from one of the journal pages that I sent in for the January catalog using Dress Form plus a few other new stamps.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HAmv2XZk478/UuEdKLkiOdI/AAAAAAAAJ7U/OstkUCauQoE/s1600/dress-form-close1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HAmv2XZk478/UuEdKLkiOdI/AAAAAAAAJ7U/OstkUCauQoE/s1600/dress-form-close1.png" height="320" width="182" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I began with my <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/419442/CP811-R/_/Creative_Palette">Creative Palette</a> and some Tim Holtz Distress Paints, brayered them on and lifted a print using templates from the new Mixed Media sets. I continued to add more paint and more layers with the templates as well as the background from Dress Form as well as stamps from some of the new <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/419442/SAS01-R/_/Stack_Art_Cling_Rubber_Stamps_Angel_Wings_Kit">Stack Art rubber stamp kits</a>.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iIFtWx9OFoc/UuEc-WqYNwI/AAAAAAAAJ7M/JSLrOVte9tg/s1600/dress-journal-page.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iIFtWx9OFoc/UuEc-WqYNwI/AAAAAAAAJ7M/JSLrOVte9tg/s1600/dress-journal-page.png" height="320" width="243" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Dress Form I stamped last using Versamark Ink and <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/TP116-R/_/Vintage_Mahogany_Embossing_Tinsel">Vintage Mahogany Embossing Tinsel</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here's a closer shot of how part of the background turned out:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Its catalog sneak peek time for <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a> and the team is showing off the new January CHA releases. When we got the stamps a few months back I was so thrilled to learn that my friend <a href="http://www.nathaliesstudio.com/">Nat Kalbach</a> would be releasing her very own line of Mixed Media stamps through Stampendous!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Py-GEIGD3Fw/Ut0_SdKA8qI/AAAAAAAAJ6M/ACA0Wx1wqWQ/s1600/photo+1-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Py-GEIGD3Fw/Ut0_SdKA8qI/AAAAAAAAJ6M/ACA0Wx1wqWQ/s1600/photo+1-1.JPG" height="400" width="290" /></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a journal page that I reproduced in my journal after the one that I created for the January catalog using Nat's stamps along with the new Creative Palette. I just love the grungy yet organic look of her stamps! They are also the perfect accompaniment to the Creative Palette (similar to the Gelli Plate).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gavlC4PcEyg/Ut1ATANoUSI/AAAAAAAAJ6g/eQ4X7GN4MPo/s1600/photo+2-2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gavlC4PcEyg/Ut1ATANoUSI/AAAAAAAAJ6g/eQ4X7GN4MPo/s1600/photo+2-2.JPG" height="320" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These stamps, like all the newest Jumbo stamps from Stampendous each come with a free template (stencil). I began by brayering paint onto my Creative Palette and using her stencils to lay down the first layers on my page. I also brayered paint onto my CP and stamped directly into that to transfer to the page. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I am back from an incredible week at CHA...lots of fun new products, loads of networking, and tons of hugs! I helped out a bit at the DWS booth and we went out for a couple of dinners as well. I have some shots of the booth on my FB page.<br />
<br />
This month, if you recall, the challenge at <a href="http://www.dreamweaverstencils.blogspot.com/">Dreamweaver Stencils</a> is "Loose some weight, AKA Clean and Simple cards. So today I am sharing one of the cards that I sent in for the booth using the Letterpress technique and one of the newest stencils released this week.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aphtrzNqt88/Utc8l_LvIJI/AAAAAAAAJ5k/tfomOwZS3Fs/s1600/Pop-rectangle-adventure-card.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aphtrzNqt88/Utc8l_LvIJI/AAAAAAAAJ5k/tfomOwZS3Fs/s1600/Pop-rectangle-adventure-card.png" height="400" width="328" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I sprayed the<a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/latest.html"> Pop Rectangles stencil</a> with<a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/accessories/leafsprays.html"> Blue Martini Memories Mist</a> and then ran that through my Cuttlebug. The result is a fun and easy letterpress background, the embossed areas remain white and the background areas pick up the color. I added a couple of Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers and some May Arts ribbon for a super fast card.Scrappychickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16306608454231325913noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6447695873515413242.post-5474612490488178122014-01-10T10:57:00.001-05:002014-01-10T10:57:11.256-05:00Winter Wonderland<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Greetings from Anaheim! I'll be hanging out at CHA for the next few days and am so excited to see lots of friends from around the world :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've been a terrible blogger lately. There have been lots of changes in my home life which I may share at a later time, but just know that I haven't forgotten my readers, fellow DT members or fellow bloggers. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This week the Stampendous gals have been sharing Snow People cards. I shared one a couple of weeks back (scroll down to end of post) but today I thought I'd post these cute <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/0/CRS5055-R/_/Cling_Jumbo_Penguin_Snow">Jumbo Penguins</a>. They're little waddling snow babies too, right?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7Y0AX36RLxc/UtAX0bFwDzI/AAAAAAAAJ5M/9QokQLsLAQA/s1600/IMG_0154.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7Y0AX36RLxc/UtAX0bFwDzI/AAAAAAAAJ5M/9QokQLsLAQA/s1600/IMG_0154.JPG" height="320" width="269" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My background was created with the snowflake stamp from the Penguin set, using Versamark ink and Detail White EP. My Penguins were colored with Copics: YG17,23,21; BV08,04,02; B24,21; C0; YR02. Ribbon is from Bo Bunny.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Be sure to head to the <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous blog</a> to see more fun snowy creations from this week! And check back with me tomorrow for a new peek from Dreamweaver Stencils and later in the week for CHA pics!</div>

In between rushing around and wrapping why not do a bit of doodling while sitting with the family? Here's a card that can be completed almost anywhere in no time at all:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2CZwGUxpV7A/UrMKPxM5rJI/AAAAAAAAJ4M/AnIvqaMyJ6Q/s1600/green-christmas.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2CZwGUxpV7A/UrMKPxM5rJI/AAAAAAAAJ4M/AnIvqaMyJ6Q/s400/green-christmas.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the <a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/stenpurchase/LJ%20Stencils/pages/LJ925.html">Jumbo Merry Christmas stencil</a> on green ptterened paper and traced through it with a 0.3 Micron pen. Then I removed the stencil and colored some letters with my Pitt pens and made some stripes with a 1.0 Micron pen. Finally I added some accents with a Sharpie white paint pen. Fast and simple!<br />
<br />
Please go check out the rest of A Teams' creations for you today:<br />

Its the first Thursday of the month and time for a new challenge from <a href="http://www.dreamweaverstencils.blogspot.com/">Dreamweaver Stencils</a>. No one has a ton of extra time during the holiday season, yet we all find a few minutes here and there to create. So this month we want to see "Holidays in a Hurry". It could be a quick gift or gift wrap or even a fast card!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WFras7nyTJg/UqCBo872hgI/AAAAAAAAJuA/aYel4w0-3dc/s1600/IMG_0193-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WFras7nyTJg/UqCBo872hgI/AAAAAAAAJuA/aYel4w0-3dc/s320/IMG_0193-1.JPG" width="254" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have a quick card for you today using one of our newest dies, <a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/Dies/dies.html">Leafless Tree</a>. I cut it out in brown cardstock and then gued that over the pre-pasted sister stencil <a href="http://www.blogger.com/1.Lea%20Kimmel-%20Color:%20Lime%20and%20purple,%20Treat:%20anything%20chocolate,%20especially%20York%20Peppermint%20Patties,%20Starbucks;%20Icon:%20Angels,%20specifically%20stylized%20No%20one%20knows:%20I%20collect%20bunnies,%20koalas,%20teddy%20bears,%20vintage%20dishes.%20I%20love%20bright%20colors,%20daisies,%20country%20music,%20patriotism,%20trees,%20barns,%20old%20buildings,%20art.%20I%20have%20five%20kids!%20%202930%20Woodworth%20Drive%20Winston-Salem,%20NC%2027103%20leadonna24@aol.com">Leafless Tree</a>. I've also added a touch of glitter to the tops of some of the branches.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R4MOKKTWb6k/UqCBrAAU2rI/AAAAAAAAJuI/KiKYNBOZXjY/s1600/IMG_0194-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R4MOKKTWb6k/UqCBrAAU2rI/AAAAAAAAJuI/KiKYNBOZXjY/s320/IMG_0194-1.JPG" width="191" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Noel was stenciled in brown ink with the <a href="http://stencilwithstyle.com/latest.html">Joyeux Noel stencil</a> masked off.</div>

In the spirit of all the crazy people who will be out shopping on Black Friday this week I thought I'd post a card with this cute little <a href="http://1.roll%20paint%20colors%20onto%20creative%20palette%20with%20brayer%2C%20and%20adding%20%20a%20blending%20medium%20to%20slow%20the%20drying%20time.%20%20place%20stencils%20onto%20palette%20and%20press%20cardstock%20onto%20palette%20to%20make%20print.%20%20repeat%20process%20and%20add%20more%20layers%20of%20paint%20or%20stencils%20as%20desired.%20%20stamp%20into%20rolled%20out%20paint%20and%20then%20onto%20print./">Gifts Kiddo</a>. He's one of the newest kiddos on the block at <a href="http://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The background was stamped with <a href="http://stampendous.com/product/459034/R182-R/_/Holiday_Giving">Holiday Giving</a> and embossed with Red Embossing Tinsel.</div>
