Stampendous! Blog Hop!!

Welcome to Stampendous! Rubber Stamps’ first official Blog Hop! We are thrilled to show you some really wonderful projects from BOTH the October 2010 Valentine, Easter, Spring Catalog (just uploaded to our website for your purchasing pleasure) and the January 2011 Catalog premiering at CHA at the end of this month (soon to be available in your local store for your wish list making pleasure). We’re so excited you can join us!

There will be four prizes drawn at random from the eligible hoppers... We’ll give away two of the Busy Bunnies set from the October Catalog and two flower sets from the January Catalog! All blog hoppers who comment on all the blogs will receive an email with a really cute bonus project and directions!!

SO, if you just ended up here because you LOVE me, head back and start at the Stampendous blog! If you arrived here from the blog of the fabulously fun and fantastically talented Rachel aka Gingerbread Gal you are right on track!

First I have for you a scrapbook page from the October catalog featuring a new gorgeous stamp called Heart Hugs. I stamped the image multiple times on black card stock with Versamark ink and then embossed the images with Pomegranate Embossing Powder.

I cut out one of the images as a whole for my title on my page. The rest of the hearts I cut apart for page embellishments. I accented these with a bit of bling...some Dot Sparklers Class-a-Peel stickers in black.

I also punched a border of black card stock with an EK Success border punch then colored the deckled edge with a Versamarker and embossed that with the same Pomegranate Embossing Powder.

Its finished off with some pattern paper (from KI Memories) and a lovely picture of my youngest daughter Rachael.

Next I have for you a card that I sent in for the BRAND new catalog that will be hitting local stamp stores in just a couple of weeks! The new sets will be released at CHA at the end of January. But I have a peek-a-loo for you of one of my new favorite Stampendous! sets...Agapanthus Thank You. (Please don't ask me to pronounce that for you...I so don't have a green thumb OR knowledge of flowers...just know when I like 'em!)

I love, love, love the way this card turned out! For the main panel I stamped the chunkiest image in the set (this is a Perfectly Clear set with multiple images and sentiments) in Versamark ink onto Glossy card stock then embossed it with White Embossing Powder. After that I used a Ranger Alcohol Ink blending tool and some Copic reinkers to create the background.

That panel and the mats behind it were cut out with Oval Nestabilties from Spellbinders. The main background is stamped with Black Memento ink and Crushed Olive Distress Ink with more pieces from this set. The border was created with a Fiskars border punch. The ribbon was purchased from Michael's.

OK, from here you get to head to the Uber talented Kimberly of For the Love of Paper! If you got lost along the way here's the hopping order:
