Desert Island Crafters Challenge #7

Its time for the next Desert Island Crafters' Challenge! And this fortnight we are using the fabulous Alison's Itinerary! If you aren't familiar with this challenge, just check out the Itinerary and pick 3 or more items! Here's the choices:

1. Use a creepy image (or make a cute image creepy!)
2. Use Black
3. Distressing
4. Sparkle
5. Mix patterns you normally wouldn't have tried together
6. Words
7. Use ink on something other then a stamp
8. Punches
9. Stripes
10. No flowers.

For my card I used #2 black, #3 distressing, #4 sparkle, #6 words,, #7 inking, #8 punches, #9 stripes, and #10 no flower. I got almost all of them in!

My butterfly is from the Stampendous! new Cling Jumbo Hydrangea, the word background on the left panel is Stampendous! Cling Dream text, and I also used the flourish from the new Stampendus! Cling Jumbo Dahlia. On the text panel I distressed the edges in Split Pea Versa color and Black Mememto, then smeared some Rose Coral Chalk Ink over the top of the text. Text was stamped in Memento (after being stamped off).

The butterfly and sentiment were embossed with Stampendous! Midnight Black EP. I added some Cosmo Cricket Upcycle gems and Stampendous! Multi glitter to the butterfly after I adhered it to the pink panel. Heres a close up.

For my card layout I used the April Sketch for you to Try:

Challenge List:
SFYTT: Sketch
Stamp Something: Something with wings
Fussy and Fancy: Springtime

OK, I am outta here! Taking my little guy to the park :) Thanks for flying by! -Cyndi
