Tiny Treats

Good morning!  Its time for our weekly Dreamweaver Stencil challenge and this month we are doing treats.  I have used one of the brand new stencils, Cherries, for my project today.

The cherries were done Double Glitter Style on Double sided mounting paper except I used Tim Holtz's Distress embossing powders.

I turned this piece into a tag and attached it to a small jar full of cherry and strawberry starburst, a fun and yummy gift for any small occasion.  My tag is attached with May Arts twine onto a wide ribbon tied around the top of the jar.  This gorgeous spring ribbon is also from May Arts.

Be sure to check out the rest of Team A's projects for you today:

  1. Cyndi - Love your colors and added ribbon is so perfect!

  2. We are kindred spirits today! I really like how this turned out with the distress powders and will have to try it that way too! Great project.

  3. First of the new blog layout! It nudges people to view the other posts as well. Just may have to find the time to do that on mine! Lol. Love this treat jar with the pink cherries!

  4. The blog format is so clean and organized! (two things I admire but find challenging) te he! That jar is adorable and the May Arts Ribbon is gorgeous. Love your creation!

  5. Oh I love the textured look of the Distress Powders done in the double 'glitter' technique... so unique! The colors are perfect for cherry and strawberry treats! Love the new look of your blog as well!

  6. Can you tell me what the double glitter style is? I love your project and would like to give it a try.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me a comment! Every comment makes me smile :)
