Thanks for joining us today for the finale of our Stampendous and May Arts week! Don't forget to go check out all the fabulous projects from all this week. You can find daily links at the Stampendous blog.
For today I finally completed a mirror project that I've been working on. I started with a plain mirror from Ikea, then primed it with Gesso and Vintage Photo Distress Stain. I then added a layer of Picket Fence Crackle Paint to that. (each layer needs to dry before adding the next)
Thanks for stopping by but now its time to keep on hopping!
I then stamped the pine needles from Jumbo Pinecone Bough all over the frame using Versamark Ink and Aged Hunter embossing Enamel. I also added the Hunter all around the edge of the frame. The pinecones were also stamped in Versamark ink and then I added Clear Bark embossing Powder to those. My final touch was to layer some gorgeous Gold mesh ribbon over a crinkly brown ribbon and adhere the bow to the frame. I used Fabritac from Beacon Adhesives to attach the bow.
Thanks for stopping by but now its time to keep on hopping!
