I have a card for you today using this same set. I started with some white cardstock that was first spritzed with some Tattered Angels Glimmer mists in Moroccan Sun and Mango. (Let this dry or heat it with a heat gun if impatient) Then with my Dahlia I stamped it on the spritzed card stock in Versamark ink then embossed it with Stampendous! Bark EP.
For the added color inside my Dahlia I rubbed some metallic chalks from Craf-T-Products into the petals. Here is a closeup of the Dahlia so you can see how pretty the colors all combine together.
I also stamped the Dahlia and embossed it with Stampendous! Copper powder on my backgrund layer (which was pre-printed paper from Bo Bunny and added a lovely extra texture). Then with the added flourish in the Jumbo Cling Dahlia set I added some random bits to a scrap of Copper cardstock and embossed that in copper.
Challenge List:
Southern Girls: Use flowers
Paper Pretties: Add ribbon
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
The Crazy Challenge: eyelets or Brads
Tuesday Throwdown: Use scraps
Hope you have a happy Monday! Its a bit windy here in NC. I'm so glad because I was very worried at how hot it already was here yesterday! Its going to be along hot summer I'm afraid. Thanks for stopping in!

ReplyDeleteThis is terrific! I love that the Dahlia makes a fabulous background as well as a focal point. It's such a versatile stamp, plus so cool that dahlias come in every color so you can't go wrong coloring this beauty! Thanks for choosing it for the challenges, Cyndi!
