Showers and Drizzles create puddles of mud!

Its my week to post for the Dreamweaver Thursday Challenge and we are still about about Spring Showers and drizzles and Mists...

I'm stretching this a bit thanks to an idea from my friend Pam...Showers create mud, right? And I have a muddy mess on my Metal clock!  I used the back of the navy aluminum (so its silver) and Dry Embossed the Steampunk clock through my Cuttlebug.  Then I created my muddy mess with alcohol ink and blending solution.  After that was dry I sanded the embossed areas so you can see the silver better.

I even added alcohol ink to some Gear charms in the corner.

I hope you'll join us this month...theres 2 weeks left to play along to win your favorite stencil!

  1. No way is this a muddy mess. Its absolutely stunning. I love the color variation.

  2. Am I the "friend Pam"? Well, whoever she is, her muddy inspiration led to a wonderful project! Lol.

  3. We often have something in our minds as we create and then if it doesn't meet that picture we have a hard time connecting the two into a reality. But like Cherylynn said..."Stunning"! I agree the color variation is wonderful!

  4. So cool! I love the stencil you worked with, and the swirls of color. I think you did a rad job with your interpretation of this challenge.

  5. Stunning card Cyndi! Love the metal and the varigated alcohol inks.

  6. ...oh but your muddy mess is so lovely!! Beautiful card and it must have been fun to make!

  7. That IS a little stretchy. Still, it is very cool, so you are forgiven! Very nice.

  8. I don't see a muddy mess, but I DO see a great card! So it doesn't fit the challenge exactly, you still got to create a wonderful card!

  9. Stunning! Great job with the colors!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me a comment! Every comment makes me smile :)
