Fab 'n' Funky Challenges you to Clashing Colors

Its a new challenge this week at Fab'n'Funky and we would like to see some clashing colors!!  OK, that is so hard to do as an "artist" because if colors just don't go, then why create it, right?  So I cheated and went with bright colors, which to some of you I'm sure, clash.

Our sponsor this week is Bonibleaux Designs and you could be chosen to be the winner of a fabulous image!   This is actually a card from my files that I haven't shared yet.  I created for that store which shall not be named using a Stamping Bella and a bunch of Nestabilities.  Paper is from Bo Bunny.

Thanks for visiting me today!  Hope you stay chilled :)

I luv being witchy

Happy hump day and time for another Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenge! Its time to head south to the Bermuda Triangle! Do what?? We want to see some triangles on your card this week AND/OR you can use this sketch to jumpstart your mojo:

We have 3 awesome sponsors this week: Inky Impressions, Funky Kits, and our own Funky gal Lou! So that means you have a chance at 3 prizes!!

For my card I picked Witchy Bella, one of the very first Bellas I ever bought a few years back, but sadly she has been uninked for a long time. You can get this Bella and many more at the Funky Kits web store.

I actually loved the sketch (even though it seems a bit challenging) so I used it! My papers are all from the Basic Grey Eerie collection, ribbon is Creative Impression, sentiment and web by Unity. Also a Prima flower & some Spooky Dew Drops from Robin's Nest.

Thanks for flying by today! Be sure to head over to the Fab 'n'Funky blog for more inspiration from the rest of the DT if you haven't already done so!!

Oh, Happy Day!! Here's a little crew of monsters for you today. This is another card I made for Enchanted Cottage with one of our new Stamping Bella images, "Monstah Bash".

I picked up the colors from the My Minds Eye "So Sophie" paper for the card, using my copic markers. I also got to use one of my newest embossing folders from Tim Holtz...this one is "Retro Circles"...totally cool!! All products are available at the Cottage. (Also used Spellbinders Labels 10 & 11 and sentiment by A Muse)

OK, gotta boogie off to work for the afternoon! Thanks for visiting!

Spencer the Bookworm & Fundraiser

Lori Boyd, the artist behind Lollipops, Puddle Jumpers, and Sugar Sticks has started a Mission 4 Macie. Macie is a little girl with a rare disease and you can read about the details HERE. You can donate $5 to Macie's fund and Lori will email you the file for this Macie's Rainbow digi.

Isn't she adorable? OK, so now on to the eye candy. I have a card for you today for 2 challenges.

This week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog, there is a recipe challenge: red, scallops, and a bow. I took on this recipe with a new image at Enchanted Cottage from Stamping Bella, "Spencer the Bookworm". Since it was a card for the Cottage I also used new My Minds Eye papers...SO Sophie collection. Wish we had gotten the whole she-bang, but we only got the 2 patterns. Sigh.

So here is the final card...I used an EK jumbo scallop border punch and Labels 11 Nestabilties. All of the copics I used are shown below...used a lot this time for such a small image! The layout is based on this weeks sketch at the Paper take Weekly Challenge blog.

Thanks for popping by! I'll have quite a bit more for you in the next few days to come!

Ella Lollipop

Happy Friday! I am so happy to be back home again! The New York trip was a blast but hey, its been 2 weeks since I have been out of my normal routine. Its quite tiring, ya know?

For today I have a cute little Lollipop card for you. I made this for Enchanted Cottage and haven't had a chance to share it with you yet. This is "Ella Lollipop" from Stamping Bella. Isn't she just adorable?!! I kept her very simple to focus on the simplicity yet utter cuteness of the image (in total Lori Boyd style!)

The pink paper is new "Green at Heart" from Basic Grey, the green card base is Bo Bunny, as are both ribbons. Ella was colored with Copic markers then I went over the dots for real clarity with my Signo Uniball white gel pen. All supplies are available at Enchanted Cottage.

OK, be sure to check back tomorrow for the second edition of Stampendous! Saturday Sketch Challenge :) Thanks for visiting today. Hope you have a marvelous weekend!

Presley Lollipop

Good morning! Its another gorgeous day here in NC and I am excited that we are heading to our favorite vacation spot tomorrow...Disney world! My whole family just loves Disney...we are all big kids at heart :)

I have a few things up my sleeve for you while I am gone, but in the meantime I have a cute Lollipop card for you today! This is Presley Lollipop from Stamping Bella. The lollipops are drawn by the fabulously talented Lori Boyd of By Lori Designs, and I am so happy that we are now carrying a large selection of these cuties at Enchanted Cottage!

I created this card for this weeks color challenge at The Pink Elephant (so of course I had to use a stamp Lori designed :) )...to use pastel colors. Well, pastels normally aren't really my thing but I just love this new Kioshi paper from Basic Grey!

The colors are pastel and springy yet still a bit of punch for those like me who need some substance to the color palette! I actually used last weeks sketch for my layout from The Pink Elephant that I never got around to using for last weeks challenge.

My buttons and brads are also from Basic Grey, but from a variety of collections. I have a huge mixed jar of each from Basic Grey. The ribbon is Bo Bunny I believe, I grabbed it from my stash. The sentiment is also by Stamping Bella.

OK, I am off to get ready to do my last minute "stuff" before we head out tomorrow. Have a great day and I will check in later this week with a couple of more posts! Thanks for dropping by!

Over the Hump Day

Hi guys. After a trip to the doc yesterday, some antibiotics, mucinex, and a 12 hour nights sleep I feel alive again, barely. This is my card for yesterdays Over the Hump Day Blog Candy over at the InStyle Stamps blog. Head on over to see the rest of the DTs awesome cards and for your chance to win!

For my card I used Jade, a digi anime image from InStyle stamps. Our theme was New Years which threw me for a loop, because of all the 1000s of papers and embellies I have I couldn't find anything to ring in a new year. Hmmm.

I was in the mood after scavenging to use this fun paper from We R Memory Keepers. It had some punch outs that I used for the embellies, PLUS I made a party hat! I cut out one of the petals of a flower and left the center and ta-dah! A hat! The sentiment of course is perfect then...one by Stamping Bella.

I used the skecth from over at the Friday Sketchers blog for the layout. She is of course colored with copics, but I kinda rushed since I was feeling blah and congested and achy. OK, enough blabbing. I have to head off to work!

Thanks for stopping in today! Don't forget to check in tomorrow for the InStyle Stamps Blog Hop! and Please say hi, it makes my day! -Cyndi
